So I haven't performed poetry in MONTHS. Yet somehow, I am booked to perform at two awesome events and venues this coming weekend!

On Saturday, March 3rd, I will be performing at Eastside Cafe in El Sereno (eastside) for Sketches of Empowered Women!  Along with me will be performances and artwork by Lionness, Irene Diaz, The Sirens, Las Jaroxicanas, Llamadilla, and Carolyn Cardoza. For more information, check out the Facebook Event page.

On Sunday, March 4th, I will be performing at Beyond Baroque in Venice with Abraham Greatson and Steve Abee, one of my favorite contemporary poets whom I owe $10 still for his books. For more information, check out the Facebook Event page.

I actually have a piece called "Love This Because Steve Abee Inspired You To (And You Still Owe Him $10)". Maybe I'll perform it on Sunday in front of Steve Abee! It's inspired by a piece of his called "You Must Love This" in his book Great Balls of Flowers.
Anyway, hope you can make it to check out some of my spoken word this weekend!

Love and respect,

Here's a new song I pieced together! Enjoy?

Hello beautiful people!

Sorry for being somewhat MIA -- I've been busy with A Basket Full of Miracles. We have four more performances this weekend in Hollywood at the Elephant Stages. Buy tickets online and use promo code 405 to get $5 off!

If you like action, if you like comedy, then you don't want to miss our show!

Sidenote: I just got a massage today from all the fighting I do in the play -- you should come so I don't feel like I'm putting my body through all this stage combat for nothing! ;)

Also, I booked a print job for Nike! I'm super excited! We shoot this week. I can't wait!

And I just learned that my Crazy Woman Water commercial is finally up! Check it out:

Additionally, Affinity TV 247 pieced together a behind the scenes in the making of the commercial. It was a fun (yet tiring!) shoot and I really enjoyed working with the folks from Affinity TV 247.

A few weeks back I did a photoshoot with photographer Brian Scanlon. Make up is by Cynthia Lauran. Here are some of the raw images taken!
