Fierce may seem a bit bold. But I assure you, I am by no means arrogant. I grew up a tomboy and was made fun of a lot for being not only a jock but also a nerd (the braces, glasses, lack of fashion sense, and bangs sure didn't help). Although I am very much a giving, nurturing person, I am also strong, on guard, and ready to protect myself at all times. I've been compared to Angelina Jolie, Michelle Rodriguez, and Natalie Portman because of these traits: a strong, fierce, independent woman who hasn't lost touch with her femininity and sensuality. That's me.

When I said I have a range of life experiences, I meant it. I’ve worked in politics, I coached Special Olympics, I’m a former LA County Ocean Lifeguard, I worked as a Jr. Designer for an engineering firm, I’ve worked as a general laborer on construction sites, I’ve ran a non-profit community center, I’ve coordinated youth leadership programs, I hold a degree in Asian American Studies, I played college level basketball and water polo, and I’m a single mother. There's more, but I'll stop so as to not bore you, if I haven't already.

"Sumiko Braun nearly stole the show in her turn as the socially awkward neighbor Vera with a frenetic sense of humor, yet illuminated with a somewhat disturbing and dark core."
